First off, if your Grand Champions have fantastic hair, keep them out of sunlight, and away from heat and solvents. Also, try not to brush their hair to often, as this stretches and breaks the plastic hair.
Tail Tamers
Using warm water, wash the tail down. Use some regular conditioner if the tail is hard to brush and allow the conditioner to st for a few minutes before rinsing out. Gently brush the tail hair straight and flat. Allow to dry overnight. Once the hair is dry, brush the tail again to separate any stiff hairs.
Try not to use blow-dryers as its heat and could make the hair worse. Always use caution if you are going to use a hair dryer.
Mane Management
Manes can present more of a problem then tails, being that manes are so much shorter!
Using warm water, gently wash the mane. While the mane is still wet, gently roll small sections with a finger or pencil, until the whole mane is done. Allow to dry overnight.
For hair that just wont lay flat, wash and wrap!
First wash the mane as above, using a small amount of conditioner. Allow conditioner to sit, then rinse out. While it is still wet, get a cloth or toilet paper.
Lay the hair flat, and then wrap it with a cloth or toilet paper (cloth will need to be pinned in place while toilet paper will stay on its own) Wrap the length in the direction the hair is going. Allow to dry for a few days, repeat if needed. Otherwise Tada!
